Disappointing for a luxury stay

Woke up to beautiful marina views each morning, and the spacious family accommodations made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. The pools are nice, too.

I was frustrated with the additional fees, especially given that essential amenities and services were lacking. I expected more for the high nightly rate.

great room but check-in was slow

The front desk staff member was incredibly helpful in getting us the ideal room for our needs it made our stay much more pleasant. The room's layout with separate sleeping areas for the kids was perfect. Waking up to the sea lions outside was a unique experience.

Check-in was not as quick as expected which impacted our initial impression.

the hyatt regency exceeded all my expectations during my stay. the spacious deluxe king room had stunning views of the serene marina, and the pools were a hit with my family, especially the water slides. the staff was incredibly helpful and made my experience enjoyable.

The pools were fantastic and provided plenty of space for lounging, even when busy. Although the self-parking fee felt excessive, our room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the generous upgrade from the front desk. Overall, it was a great place for a family getaway, despite a couple of minor setbacks with parking costs.

The Deluxe Queen Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the marina, perfect for enjoying sunrise views. The pools were fantastic for the kids, featuring water slides and a hot tub. The staff was super helpful, making our stay enjoyable. Dining at Red Marlin offered fresh seafood with amazing service.

I absolutely loved the beautiful landscaping surrounding the pools, which provided a lovely view of the bay. The easy accessibility made it perfect for seniors like me to enjoy the facilities without any hassle.

The room was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. However, some noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable, which affected our sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the pricing for services felt high without a significant added value.

easy access to parks and iconic attractions for weekend explorers

the hotel had a beautiful location with stunning views, and it was just a short walk to Mission Point Park, perfect for my weekend strolls. I could easily explore SeaWorld San Diego which was only a bit over 2 km away and made for a fun adventure. the hotel also had nice pools for relaxing after my walks, but the room a bit noisy due to its proximity to the lobby.

Can recommend for a brief stop-in

Clean room, beautiful grounds, enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool with safe depth for children and convenient access to a coffee shop just a short walk away.

Watch out for the high parking and resort fees.
